Award Guidelines

Bhaskar “Green Parrot Awards” are an attempt towards promoting and appreciating Social & Environmental concerns by individuals and institutions working with a vision towards a better, cleaner, safer, healthier, greener & prosperous India.

By awarding innovative and indigenous ideas and contributions these awards aim at promoting individuals and institutions towards further improving social standards and environmental awareness for our future generations.

 

GREEN PARROT AWARDS GUIDELINES:

  • 1. The awards will consider all individuals and institutions of any origin doing works in Rajasthan
    Initiatives making the real difference to build the futuristic society filled with nationalistic fervor.
  •  All claims for the awards must attach proofs of execution.
  •  The awards will consider only works done for overall social & environmental good, not personal possessions; any further consideration made is the sole right of Dainik Bhaskar.
  •  The award decisions shall be on the discretion of Dainik Bhaskar.
  •  The tasks taken up can be from any field as given below:

A. Education:

  1. Basic Education to under Privileged
  2. Skill Education Towards Better Employment

B. Environmental sustainability:

  1. Planting Trees
  2. Indigenous Waste Management /Advanced Waste Disposal
  3. Beat Plastic Pollution: Refuse / Reuse / Reduce
  4. Innovative Building Material

C. Water Conservation:

  1. Ingenious Water Harvesting
  2. Indigenous Water Conservation & Sustainability

D. Healthcare, Health & hygiene,

  1. Food Care & Health Aid for Eradicating extreme hunger to Improve health & Combating health deficiencies
  2. Combating human immunodeficiency virus, acquired, immune deficiency syndrome, malaria and other diseases

E. Clean India:

  1. Sanitation
  2. Carbon Reduction
  3. Awareness Initiative for Air & Odor
  4. Awareness Initiative for Noise Reduction

F. Women & Child:

  1. Promoting gender equality and empowering women – Education / Skill Development / Griha-Udhyog / Entrepreneurships
  2. Mother & Child Health
  3. Promoting Girl Child in Education & Sports

G. Improving Energy Efficiency:

  1. Renewable & sustainable energy,

J. Basic Care for those Deprived:

  1. Housing for Underprivileged,
  2. Care for the Differently-Abled (Mentally & Physically Challenged)

K. Road Safety:

L. Fin-Empowerment to the lesser Privileged:

M. Contribution to Govt. Relief Funds

  1. Contribution to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government or the State Governments for socio-economic development

N. Contribution to Govt. Relief Funds

  1. Relief and funds for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women and such other matters as may be prescribed by the Govt..
