SBI Jaipur Circle: CSR Brief Detail

  1. Installation of 60 water coolers at various place in Rajasthan on circle foundation day
  2. Celebrated World Yoga Day
  3. Donation to Disha Foundation for computers, printers, photography machine. It is a registered institution works for the education, rehabilitation and empowerment of multiple disabilities children on occasion of Bank Day.
  4. Donation to Pardaya Memorial Trust, Jaipur for procuring Electrolyte Analyzer (Blood testing machine) It is running a charitable hospital named ‘Pardaya Memorial Hospital’ since 2001 rendering medical treatment facilities to poor and needy people at nominal/concessional cost.
  5. Donation to Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti for rehabilitation of disabled under SBI Hope Loan campaign approved from Corporate Centre. 1750 disabled/polio patients from all over the country were benefitted by providing artificial limbs/calipers/hand-paddled tricycles/wheel chairs (ISI) and crutches.
  6. Donation of a school bus to Prayas (Vocational Institute for Mentally Handicapped), Jaipur for 04 schools running by Prayas – one is special school for mentally challenged children & three are integrated schools for poors/slum children.
  7. Various Swachhta awareness activities during Swachhta Pakhwada at LHO/AOs/RBOs/Branches.
  8. On occasion of Children’s Day, Bank undertakes CSR activities at Rajasthan Netraheen Kalyan Sangh, Jaipur for blind / visually impaired children, & Prem Niketan Sansthan, Jaipur for needy & underprivileged children.
  9. Donation of an Ambulance to Jaipur Calgary Charitable Eye Hospital and Research Centre Trust. It is rendering ophthalmological services to poor and needy persons. The trust organizes free eye camp in the rural areas or in the &um areas of the cities for poor persons who cannot afford treatment. • Various awareness programs were organzed during swachhta pakhwada like street play etc.
  10. Donation to ‘Positive Women network of Rajasthan Society’ . The Society is running a shelter home named “Aashray Care Home” at Jaipur for HIV+ children. The Assistance provided for Solar System for hot water supply, Solar Street light, Solar Electric Supply System Power Plant for their new care home building.
  11. Donation to Louis Braile Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan. The Louis Braile Drishtiheen Vikas Sansthan is an NGO working for last 37 years for Blind peoples of all categories. They provide free food and shelter to them and also train them in Braille Music and Computer courses. The assistant provided for Computers, One Laser Printer &5 steal racks etc which will be used in their training activity as well as for their day to day hostel requirement.
  12. Donation to NGO SAPNA, Alwar The NGO SAPNA has been organizing eye screening camps in rural area of Alwar District, since year 2007. The NGO provides all services at free of cost. The NGO has started an eye hospital “Vishwaprabha Netralaya” at Alwar. The assistance provided for a Bus & 500 cataract surgery.
  13. Contributing Swachh Bharat Mission, Banks installed Sanitary Napkin Vending & Destroyer Machines at girls schools at various places in Rajasthan.
  14. Provided LCD Projector & Audio Visual System to Kavita Cancer Care Centre, Jaipur

  • ~20,500 household toilets built to support Government’s first open defecation free blocks in Gida and Baytu, Barmer District, Rajasthan; district declared open defecation free in 2018
  • School sanitation campaignto provide basic health and sanitation facilities impacting ~7,000 students in 27 government schools

Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, and Animal Husbandry 

  • Raising incomes for ~12,900 farmers through agriculture productivity enhancement, with~77,000 fruit sapling planted in1,114 fruit orchards (Wadi)
  • Enhancingdairy productivity in 36 cooperatives of milk producers, with a daily milk collection of ~12,500 litres
  • Harvesting ~1,500,000 cubic meters of water every year through renovation of 15 community ponds (Nadi), construction of 681 traditional water harvesting structures (Khadin), and rooftop water harvesting in 85 rural schools

  • A network of 50 modern crèches (Anganwadi) benefitting ~1,500 children and ~500 women in Barmer District, in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India
  • Flagship initiative of the Vedanta Group, committed to the Prime Minister’s vision of eradicating child malnutrition, providing education and healthcare to children, and skill development for women
  • Constructed with state-of-the-art Schnell Technology,providing e-learning tools, televisions, solar panels, balanced food supplements, safe drinking water, and clean toilets

Drinking Water 

  • More than 16,300 families have access to safe drinking water from 114 RO plants in Rajasthan, 10 in Gujarat, and twoin Andhra Pradesh
  • Fivebore wells provide water to ~5,000 families under the “Access to Water for All” project in collaboration with the Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Rajasthan
  • Solar-powered water ATMs ensure convenient access to safe drinking water, while mobile “JalRath” vehicles take water to people located far from plant locations

  • 10 mobile health vanstake basic medical services to more than 300,000people in Rajasthan and Gujarat, reaching ~244 villages every week
  • Three specialist doctors support more than 54,000 outpatient visits annually, and62 housekeeping workers ensure hygiene and sanitation at the Barmer district hospital
  • Two dysfunctional First Referral Units have been operationalized to attendto critical cases, in partnership with National Health Mission and the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Rajasthan
  • The PAHONCH project in Gujarat has improved access to nutrition and health entitlements for ~7,100 pregnant women, nursing mothers, young children (0-6 years), and adolescent girls
  • A collaboration with theHealth Department in Andhra Pradesh has helped functionalize the Primary Health Centre in Surasaniyanam village,by supporting 11 medical staff who offer first aid, including for emergencies

  • More than 13,500 youth trained at Cairn skill development centres in Rajasthan, with a placement record of 80%
  • Cairn Enterprise Centre imparts vocational skills like electrical repair and fittings, computing, mobile phone repair, masonry, as well as soft skills like English-speaking and digital literacy, with support from the Government of Rajasthan and the International Finance Corporation
  • The Cairn Centre of Excellence (CCoE) offers vocational training in advanced courses like IT, automobile repair, welding, solar and windmachine installations, with support from the Rajasthan Skill & Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) for state certified courses, and from Rajasthan Integrated Leaders Development Skill University for running diploma, advanced diploma, and bachelor skill development courses
